She walked through the darkness and the withered trees alone, but not lonely. The moonlight shown through the trees and an ethereal mist rose at her feet, and a brilliant orb appeared at a her shoulder. For years she hid what she was, but tonight she was stepping out on her own.
Wolves howled and fireflies swarm around her head and through her hair. She was a wild child at heart and in spirit. She felt caged in the urban jungle, but out here in the wilderness she was home.
She ran through the trees chasing the wind and the spirits who lived in the trees. She’d danced in these woods as a child and wanted to live in this magical place forever. What she didn’t realize at the time was she was the magic, not the forest.
Now, she was going to embrace who she was and find out what wild amazement life had in store for her.
