We all need a helping hand from time to time. I didn’t realize how true that was until quite recently.
I don’t talk about myself much, because I want to focus on my writing and bring joy and entertainment through my words.
But, this winter has been difficult, and I know I’m not the only one who probably feels that way. I have Cerebral Palsy and my body aches and putting words on a page can feel like a chore because of that.
It all came to a head when A Fortnight of Lust was ready to begin. Normally the challenges excite me and inspire me, but I struggled so much. I hurt, and life and stress were getting to me. But, there was one thing that helped get me through.
Her name is Zoey.
She is a zebra, and the newest Scentsy Buddy.
I was always dubious about aroma therapy, but with Zoey, I’ve found a solution. Not only does she look cute, she’s so soft, her scent is calming, and she helps me focus.
The Scentsy Buddies make a perfect writing buddy, and without Zoey I don’t think I’d be as willing to keep writing until Spring.
If you’re interested in a Zoey of your own, or want to share how you overcame your own writing struggles, comment below. We’d love to hear from you.
At Scribble City, we write now, and we write often–with a little help from friends and those around us too.
