Nightmare
Dreams are supposed to be sweet
Everyone says so
Why does the night bring terrors
It’s hard to know
Life can seem normal
But fears bury deep
Out of the darkness
These villains can creep
It may all seem innocent
With a life full of stress
But don’t shirk what’s happening
Sometimes it’s better to confess
To sleep peacefully
Don’t go to bed
With unsettled plans
Put the conrol in your hands
It may not be easy
It takes lots of work
Rewards can be worth it
It isn’t cheesy
Chase the nightmares away
Even when they fight to stay
Everyone deserves happiness
The ability to face the day
