Casualty 

I’m doomed to walk this place forever,

And I will never know why.

So much has happened,

And I stood idly by.

I wasn’t the cause,

But I did nothing to assist.

I thought it would never effect me,

But I was wrong.

I walked through the fire, 

And got burned.

I would take it all back,

But it’s too late for me.
