Routine Break
Everything is the same everyday to the point that it almost feels like a cycle. The morning begins with a shower and then a bagel (B-E-G-A-L) with cream cheese within the slices.
When the afternoon comes around I then have a California Club sandwich with a glass of OJ.
Once it’s dinner time, I enjoy my Sup that consists of soup and beans. I go to bed, then wake up to the same thing over and over again.
No matter the change of schedule or outside events, my routine of meal choice was always the same. I never thought about it since it became second nature to me.
That was until just last week when it all changed. I was out shppping for the same ingredients like I usally did every week.
It was Halloween night when I walked in the same aisle for the same things until I saw it. A creature. Looking at the same brand of soup I was walking towards.
At first I didn’t necognise it as anything non-human, to be honest I wasn’t paying attention to my surroundings, especially when something was in my way.
I bump into it and suddenly I was in a forrest, blood on my claws as the “creature” I ran into was human now. I don’t know what happened on why, but even then—Nothing changed.
The person ran away and I went back to my hunt, chasing down my dinner and feasting upon the entrails like the wild animal I am.
How am I not disturbed? I don’t know myself on that either, but as long as I still get to eat at the times I want to, the cycle continues, no matter if I’m man or wolf.
